Obituary for PVT. Gregory Allen Trimble II

Pvt. Gregory Allen Trimble II, age 20, of West Liberty, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016, at the Southwestern Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma, after a brief illness.

Born November 19, 1996, in Lexington, he is the son of Gregory Allen Trimble of Elk Fork and Cheryl McIntosh Trimble of Paris.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Joshua Trimble and Jeremiah Trimble, both of Paris; three sisters, Tessa Trimble and Tracie Trimble, both of Winchester, and Alexa Morgan and husband Alex of Lancaster; paternal grandparents, Ronald and Peggy Trimble of Elk Fork; maternal grandparents, Orville and Judy Cockerham McIntosh of Winchester; special friend, Jonathan Stevens of West Liberty; and other extended family members and friends.

Gregory was serving in the U.S. Army and was a 2015 graduate of Morgan County High School. He enjoyed welding, riding 4-wheelers, and spending time with family and friends. Gregory always had a smile to brighten your day.

Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at the Winchester Cemetery, 625 W. Lexington Ave., Winchester, with full military honors conducted by the U. S. Army Honor Guard.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at Potter Funeral Home, 329 Glen Ave., West Liberty and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Scobee Funeral Home, 219 W. Lexington Ave., Winchester.
