Lois Gennine Taulbee of Lucasville, OH, formerly of Wellington, KY, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center, Portsmouth, OH, at the age of 76 years, 1 month, and 12 days. She was born Wednesday, August 23, 1939 at Ezel, KY, daughter of the late Henry Curt & Mollie Alice Moore Ferguson.
Lois was united in marriage to Herbert Taulbee. This union was blessed with six children. She worked on the production line at A.O. Smith’s in Mt. Sterling, KY. She was saved and baptized over 40 years ago and was of the United Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Taulbee; two children, William Taulbee and Johnny Marvin “Winnie” Taulbee; two brothers, Raymond Ferguson & Dorsie Randall Ferguson; and one sister, Ruby Elizabeth Ferguson Harvey.
She is survived by four children, Herbert Scotty Taulbee of Mt. Sterling, KY, Sheila & William Osborne of Wellington, KY, Brenda Lee & Mark Howard of Salyersville, KY, Christopher Kent Taulbee of West Liberty, KY; 20 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; one sister, Lodema Ferguson Perry of Ezel, KY; and one brother, Willie Earl & Connie Ferguson of Mt. Sterling, KY.
Funeral service 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 9, 2015 at the Potter Funeral Home with Bro. Jackie Smith officiating. Burial to follow in the Cox & Perry Cemetery, Hwy 772, Ezel, KY. Visitation 5 p.m., Thursday, October 8, 2015 at the Potter Funeral Home.
Pallbearers: Johnnie Dragoo, Christopher Taulbee, Brian Crum, Anthony Watkins, Kyle Nethercutt, and James Aaron Taulbee.
